S-23 Locations: Remains open to fishing through October. From Oct. 1-Oct. 31: artificial lures only; all fish caught. S-24 Locations: Remains open to fishing through November. From Oct. 1-Nov. 30: All trout, salmon, togue and bass must be released alive at once.

ome great fishing reports came in last week from Thompson Lake anglers. The salmon are actively feeding on juvenile smelt, which appear to be present in good numbers. The salmon are running between 18 and 21 inches long and are reported to be in excellent condition. Streamers fished near the surface have been producing well.
